  Staff and Poi Workshops with Noel-ski June 23–24

Beginner/Intermediate Double Staff from the Ground Up
When: Tuesday, June 23, 5–6:20pm
Where: The Sky Box, 342 Maujer St., Brooklyn NY
Learn double staff from the ground up in this class designed for the beginner. After a thorough examination of the many myriad ways to move a staff we begin combining techniques to seamlessly integrate a second staff.

Beginner/Intermediate Contact Staff Basics and Beyond
When: Tuesday, June 23, 6:30–8pm
Where: The Sky Box, 342 Maujer St., Brooklyn NY
We will explore fundamental contact moves and begin stringing them together into more complex move sequences including: conveyer belts, SNES, and Steve. We will also add a few more difficult individual moves to our contact vocabulary including: angel rolls and The Jesus.

Beginner Partner Poi Basics
When: Wednesday, June 24, 6–7:30pm
Where: Home of Claire Smith, 435 Broadway #305, Brooklyn, NY
Learn to spin with a friend. Partner poi is all about taking simple poi tricks and doing them with someone else. Learn a coherent structure that will enable you to make up your own partner poi tricks. Bring a partner or we'll provide you with one.

Intermediate/Advanced Poi Transition Flow
When: Wednesday, June 24, 7:30–9pm
Where: Home of Claire Smith, 435 Broadway #305, Brooklyn, NY
Take your transitions to the next level with this class. Here you will learn to move through many of the tricks you know while maintaining visually interesting and innovative. This class will focus on stalls and the use of them to transition between timings, directions and planes.

Cost: $20 per workshop or $60 if you take all four. Private classes are also available. Rates upon request.
