Traveling Circus School Accepting Applications (UK)

The Academy of Circus Arts, Europe's only traveling circus school, is
now accepting applications for its summer session.
Our Academy doesn't have a building! A circus tent is the classroom,
rehearsal and performance area, and all students live and travel with
this real travelling circus as it journeys around England from May
until October, training and performing at festivals and galas.
Students start performing from the very first show of the season,
alongside our teachers who are professional circus artistes. When the
Academy moves each week, students learn how the tent is assembled, how
to rig a trapeze or tight-wire, and how to make it safe. Students
devise their own acts, improvise and experiment to learn presentation,
and build a relationship with an audience.
You do not need to have any circus or performing skills to join the
course. Since 1992 we have had successful graduates aged from 18 years
upwards, now performing in circus and related arts throughout the
world.
