Trapeze Teacher Training Workshop & Professional Training Program at
NECCA
New England Center for Circus Arts' 5th annual Trapeze Teacher
Training workshop is taking place in
Brattleboro, VT from March 16 - 20.
This workshop is for people who coach, or wish to coach, children and
adults at summer camps, schools, gymnastics programs, or circus
schools. Materials that will be covered include:
- Safety & spotting techniques
- Teaching methods
- Rigging & equipment maintenance
- Preventing chronic injuries
- Skill progressions for beginning to advanced "tricks"
Classroom information will be supplemented with a teaching manual by
Carrie Heller.
March 16 - March 20
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Cost: $845, workbook included
(If you bring your own copy of Carrie's book, the workshop will be
$800.)
