This is an amazing once-a-year chance to study intensely with one of
the best clown and comedy teachers working today. He is able to draw
out the funny in anyone in front of him, in a way you didn't even know
possible. As he says, the workshop will be
Very much looking to find what is uniquely funny about
each person and how they can make that accessible to an audience. In
my opinion when people have fun and play instinctively it is then that
they start to play the fool, tell stories, joke, and discover their
creativity.
It will incorporate elements of modern clown, (i.e., no big shoes,
make up, or squirting flowers) to draw the funny out of each and every
person.
Coffee Cup is a theatre collective that develops, writes, and performs
original, actor-driven theatre. We are presenting this workshop as a
way to support the community of theater we are so proud to be a part
of. Our company provides its members with a flexible forum within
which they can experiment freely. We aim to shine a humane and
humorous light on the small, everyday relationships and interactions
which define so much of our lives and yet are so often taken for
granted. For more info on the company, please
