Sean Blue Presents Mixed Up
Posted September 17, 2008
Note: Take the day off work, go to Sean's workshop (see listing), and stay the
weekend for the Philly Fest. It'll be worth it. Yes, we're biased. But
we're also right. Posted as received.
Sean Blue presents Mixed Up, a collection of solos,
collaborations, videos, and music that shows the broad range of styles
in contemporary juggling. Inspired by the diversity that can be found
by walking just a few blocks in New York City, Mixed Up
presents the creative, technical, elegant, and comedic sides of Sean
Blue, Marcus Monroe, Kyle Driggs, and Elena Ciccotelli and how these
very different people work together to create a vision of juggling
rarely seen by the public. Featuring a new video by Stockholm-based
juggling badass Wes Peden.
Where:
Greg Kennedy Studio
6122 Greene Street
Philadelphia, PA 19144
When:
Friday, October 3rd, 8pm
Tickets are $10 at the door.
Sean Blue is a New York City-based artist, juggler, and teacher. He's
received the Award of Innovation from the International Jugglers'
Association and JUGGLE magazine calls him "poetry to
watch."
