Global Stilt-Walking Event June 16

When: Tuesday, June 16, 2009, 12–1:30pm
Where: Pier 84—Midtown West. Cross at West 44th or West 43rd Street
Stilts will be available for everyone to try to "walk on the wild side."
In 2004, Cirque du Soleil set the first Guinness World Record for the most people simultaneously walking on stilts. On June 16, we are gathering to reclaim the record and celebrate in 10 cities around the world, including Montreal, Orlando, Las Vegas, New York, Moscow, Lisbon, Macau, Tokyo, Nagoya, and Fortaleza in Brazil.

Take Part in a Global Stilt-Walking Event
On June 16, a global stilt-walking event will take place celebrating
25 years of Cirque du Soleil. You're invited to join the
Kooza troupe visiting New York City, or organize your own
stilters' parade in your neighborhood to commemorate the
event!
