American Youth Circus Organization Festival Aug 19–23

Note: Every other year, AYCO hosts a festival open to all youth
circus programs. It's a lot of fun and absolutely inspirational. This
is the first year the fest will be held at a summer camp. Details
posted as gleaned.

The 2009 American Youth Circus Festival will be the fifth biennial
national conference for the ever growing world-wide movement of youth
circus.
The festival will include:
- Pre-festival intensives
- Four days of workshops
- Performances by youth troupes from around the continent
- Discussion groups
- Dozens of presenters
- Fun filled hob-nobbing!

About Island Lake Camp
Nestled on 550 acres in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeastern
Pennsylvania, Island Lake Camp provides a rich recreational and
learning environment for festival participants of all circus skill and
experience levels. The festival facilities include the circus
pavilion; indoor and outdoor gymnasiums; gymnastics pavilion; two
