Handstand/Stretching Classes

For serious acrobatic students: check out circusedge.com, and come take a class! I'm a small studio in Park Slope, right near the Atlantic/Pacific stop and almost every train.

Handstands:
Wednesdays 2–3:30pm & Saturdays 11am–12:30pm
This open-level class is for anyone looking to achieve a freestanding handstand. By rotating through circuits of exercises that address balance, strength, and alignment we work towards a handstand in a way that is accessible to beginners and challenging for more advanced balancers. Come prepared to spend a good deal of time upside down!

Stretching:
Wednesdays 3:30-5pm & Saturdays 12:30–2pm
This intense class is designed for those who have plateaued in their personal practice of either yoga or acrobatics and are looking for a greater functional range of motion. A great companion to the handstand class, we will go through both active and static stretching with a focus on increasing the range of motion in the hips, shoulders, and back. NOT a yoga class.
