Circus McGurkus Seeks Performers

Note: This is an update to an item we posted in April (Circus McGurkus Summer Tour
Auditions). The company is still actively recruiting performers;
in particular they are looking for Russian bar catchers and a tight
wire walker. Posted as received.
The Circus McGurkus is an exciting new big top touring show based on
Dr. Seuss' If I Ran the Circus. The show will be directed by
world-renowned Franco Dragone and produced by Running Subway
Productions. Music by David Yazbek, Scenario by David Simpatico,
Associate Director Richard Kimmel, Musical Director Keith
Levinson.
Seeking:
- Tight wire walker
- Acrobatic catchers
- Gymnasts
Rehearsals start November 17 2008. Tour begins March 2009.
Pay is $1000-$1200/week. Two-year contracts, per diem, housing, and
transportation included.
