NYCAA Seeks Circus Performers

New York Circus Arts Academy seeks performers possessing exceptional talent in at least one circus or similar discipline, plus well-rounded skills including tumbling, balancing, dance, physical acting (clown, mime, commedia, mask, improv), and aerial acrobatics. Performers must be team players. These are non-union positions.
Auditions take place Sunday Sept 7th, 10am-6pm in Midtown, New York City.
Performers chosen will be placed in one of two shows:
- Takura, November 5- January 4; Tuesday - Saturday nights, Saturday and Sunday matinees.
- Children's holiday circus show, Nov 6- January 4; Tuesday - Sunday matinees
Break November 24-December 17
No shows Xmas, New Years
Rehearsals Sept 12 - Oct 12 Friday & Sunday evenings, Oct 17 - Nov 2 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
Compensation ranges from $1,852-$5,325 depending on skills, experience, and role selection.
